The new functional Snugpak Venture Range has been created to support you on Search & Rescue Operations, whether you are completing hasty searches in local countryside and parks, expanded searches on lowland moors, scrambling on alpine mountain routes, completing technical rescue and rock climbing. The Snugpak S&R Windtop has been created to support you in the face of adversity The Snugpak S&R Windtop is ideal for operations where the main environmental considerations are wind and direct (UV) sunlight in summer and autumnal temperatures: Lowland Search & Rescue K9 Search & Rescue Mountain Rescue Technical Rescue The Snugpak S&R Windtop is designed to provide excellent protection against winds, as well as sunshine and light rain showers. The S&R Windtop is much lighter than a normal jacket, using small YKK zips, packing down to the size of an apple, ideal for when size and weight need to be kept to a minimum. It is ideally worn with a long sleeve base layer, such as the Snugpak 2nd Skinz Coolmax base layer to move moisture away from the skin, keeping you dry and regulating core temperature when completing deliberate and immediate search actions. The Snugpak S&R Windtop is a single layer garment and uses Paratex Micro. The single-layer windtop is ideal for summer months, and is light enough to be unnoticeable and worn all day; an additional windtop can be carried to protect casualties and missing persons (misper's) from the elements when found, becoming a stalwart item of clothing for anyone involved in S&R operations. The quick drying, Paratex Micro 100% nylon material has a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish.
